Essential choice storage
atlas_optional_consent records whether optional services were allowed or declined for up to one year when the Atlas first-party preference banner is in use. It does not identify an Atlas account.
Advertising and analytics
Advertising remains globally disabled until the site has been approved and a Google-certified consent management platform has been configured. When enabled, that platform may store and communicate consent choices and Google advertising services may set or read cookies according to those choices and Google’s published policies. The first-party Atlas preference cookie is not used as a substitute for the certified ad consent signal.
